MURRAY VALLEY PORK ‘GREEN AND GOLDEN TICKET’ PROMOTION TERMS AND CONDITIONS
The Murray Valley Pork Green and Golden Ticket promotion enables owners of a Australian Registered Butcher or Foodservice business to enter into a competitive game of skill, with the aim of winning either a travel package to the 2018 World Butcher Challenge event in Ireland to be held from 15th to 21st March 2018 or a Unox Commercial Oven Package. The winners will be drawn on the 15/01/2018

Acceptance of Terms and Conditions
These terms and conditions (“Terms”) apply to the Murray Valley Pork Green and Golden Ticket promotion ("Competition”). Submission of an Entry to the Competition via an online entry form accessible by using Facebook Messenger at www.messenger.com, is deemed acceptance of these Terms.

Campaign Period
The Campaign Period commences at 9:00am AEST on 01/11/2017 and final submissions close at 11:59pm AEST on 31/12/2017 (“Campaign Period”).

Eligibility

The Competition is open to individuals who:

are residents of Australia;
-
are aged 18 years or older;
-
who own or work in a butcher or foodservice business with a registered Australian Business Number (ABN) within Queensland, New South Wales, Australian Capital Territory, Victoria or South Australia.

are not employees of the Promoter, or any of its related companies or any of their agencies, partners or service providers associated with the Competition;
-
are not a spouse, defacto spouse, parent, child or sibling (whether natural or by adoption) of such an employee; and
-
have not been discovered to have breached these Terms.

The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity and eligibility of Entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant whose Entry is not in accordance with these Terms, engages in unlawful or improper conduct, acts in a disruptive manner, acts with the intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass another person or who otherwise tampers with the Entry process. The Promoter reserves the right to recover damages or other compensation for such an offender.

How to Enter

Find one (1) of twenty (20) official ‘Green & Golden Tickets’ inside any participating cartons of Murray Valley Pork during the promotional period

Competition entry is granted via an online entry form accessible at Facebook Messenger www.messenger.com where the entrant is required to search for Murray Valley Pork to find the Murray Valley Pork Chatbot, click on the Green & Golden Ticket promotion image, enter the unique code found on the ‘Green & Golden Ticket’, then tell us in 25 words or less about you most popular or favourite pork product

All entries received will then be judged and the winners will be notified of their success

Incomplete, indecipherable, or illegible Entries will be deemed invalid. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any incorrect, incomplete, late, lost or misdirected Entries including Entries not received by the Promoter or delays in the delivery of Entries due to technical issues.

Entry Content

Entry Content includes all information and content provided by the entrant when entering the Competition, including but not limited to Business Type, Business Name, Australian Business Number (ABN) text & stories (“Entry Content”).

All Entry Content must not:

be in breach of any laws, regulations and rights, e.g. any laws regarding intellectual property (copyright, trademarks, etc.), defamation and privacy; and
-
be defamatory, obscene, derogatory, pornographic, sexually inappropriate, contain nudity, aggressive, violent, abusive, harassing, threatening, objectionable or discriminate/vilify any section of the community with respect to race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, origin, sexual preference, mental illness, disability or gender or be unsuitable for publication; or contain viruses.

Entrants acknowledge and agree that they:

are the author/copyright holder of their Entry Content or they have the express consent of the relevant author/copyright holder of any of the Entry Content for the Promoter to use the Entry Content in accordance with these Terms;

license and grant the Promoter or any of its related companies or any of their agencies, partners or service providers an exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, worldwide, irrevocable, and sub-licensable right
to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish and display their Entry Content (including any portion of their Entry Content) for any purpose, including but not limited to future promotional, marketing or publicity purposes, in any media, without compensation, restriction on use, attribution or liability;

will comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including without limitation, those governing copyright, defamation, privacy, publicity and the access or use of others’ computer or communication systems; and

understand and agree that the Promoter has no obligation to publish any Entry Content.

Entries that breach clause 5.2 or 5.3 are not eligible to win the Competition.

Winner

The most creative and appealing entry (1) for Butcher Business entries and the most creative and appealing entry (1) for Foodservice Business entries as chosen at the sole discretion of the Promoter, at the Promoter’s Premises on the 15/01/2018 will be deemed the winning entries (“Winners”).

The Winners will be notified via email and by telephone within five business days of the Winners being selected with the Winners being published on the Murray Valley Pork trade website http://butchers.murrayvalleypork.com.au/ on the 16/01/2018. The Winners have until the19/01/2018 to claim the Prize. The winner of the Butcher Business Prize will have until the 31/01/2018 to confirm their availability for travel to the 2018 World Butchers Challenge to be held in Belfast, Ireland from the 15th March 2018 to the 22nd March 2018.

Should the Prize remain unclaimed, the Promoter will select the next best creative and appealing Entry on 09/02/2018 with the Winners being published on the Murray Valley Pork trade website http://butchers.murrayvalleypork.com.au/ on the 12/02/2018.

If no valid entries were received for either the Business Butcher Prize or the Foodservice Butcher Prize, an unclaimed prize draw will take place at Rivalea (Australia) Pty Ltd, Level 1, Suite1 576 Kiewa St Albury, New South Wales 2640 on 12/02/2018 at 17:00 AEDT . The unclaimed prize winner will be notified by phone or email and will be published on the Murray Valley Pork trade website http://butchers.murrayvalleypork.com.au/ on the 13/02/2018

The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence or communication will be entered into in relation to the selection of the Winner or any other aspect of the Competition.

The Prizes

Butcher Business Prize (“Butcher Business Prize”):

The trip will include return economy airfares from either Adelaide, Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane to Belfast, Ireland inclusive of any taxes, not including travel insurance to a total value not exceeding
$5,000 AUD when the airfare booking is confirmed.

The trip will include 8 nights’ accommodation from the 15th to 22nd March 2018, main meals and coach transport with a package inclusion value of $3,805 AUD

The Prize includes airport transfers in Ireland but does not include any other transfers or expenses incurred from any other city.

The total value of the Butcher Business Prize is $8,805 AUD including GST.

The Prize is not transferable or redeemable for cash.

The total value of the Foodservice Business Prize is $10,000 AUD including GST

General

If this Competition is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated by the Promoter, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law (a) to disqualify Entries; or (b) to modify, extend, suspend, terminate or cancel the Competition without prior notice, as appropriate.

The Promoter accepts no responsibility for late, lost, incomplete, incorrectly submitted, delayed, illegible, corrupted or misdirected Entries, whether due to error, omission, alteration, deletion, theft, destruction, transmissions interruption, communications failure or otherwise. The Promoter has no control over communications networks or lines and accepts no responsibility for any problems associated with them, whether due to traffic congestion, technical malfunction or otherwise. In the event that an error with an Entry occurs, the Promoter accepts no responsibility for costs incurred, responses received or any other consequences. Entrants must notify the Promoter if their contact details change.

The Promoter may require the Winner to validate their details at any time prior to being eligible to claim the Prize. The Promoter reserves the right to request the Winner provide proof of identity, Australian residency and Australian Business Number registration. Identification considered suitable for verification is at the sole discretion of the Promoter.

If any aspect of this Competition is considered in the reasonable opinion of the Promoter to no longer be practical or desirable to run as planned for any reason, is not capable of running as planned, including by reason of infection by computer virus, network failure, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures, legally binding directive to the Promoter to end any component of the Competition or any causes beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Competition, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify, extend or suspend the Competition, subject to any written directions of any relevant authority. In taking such action the Promoter may deem that the Competition closed on a date different to that provided for in these Terms, including a date that has already occurred.

The Promoter or any of its related companies or any of their agencies, partners or service providers will not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect or consequential loss), damage, personal injury or death which is suffered (including but not limited to that arising from any person's negligence) in connection with this Competition, in relation to acts or omissions done by entrants or others in the course of entering the Competition, and/or any aspect of the Prize, except any liability that cannot be excluded by law in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law.

The Promoter or any of its related companies or any of their agencies, partners or service providers accept no responsibility for any tax implications that may arise from the Prize winnings. Independent financial advice should be sought. Where the operation of the Competition results in, for GST purposes, supplies being made for non- monetary consideration, entrants agree to follow the Australian Taxation Office's requirements.

The Promoter is bound by the Australian Privacy Principles contained in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) (as amended) as well as any other applicable laws. The entrants' personal information will be collected by the Promoter. The Promoter collects personal information about entrants to enable them to participate in the Competition and may disclose the entrants' personal information to any of its related companies or any of their agencies, partners or service providers to assist in conducting the Competition. If the entrant does not provide their personal information as requested, they may be ineligible to enter or claim the Prize. The Promoter will handle personal information in accordance with its Privacy Policy at www.rivalea.com.au. The Promoter's Privacy Policy contains information about how the entrant may access, update and seek correction of the personal information the Promoter holds about the entrant and how the entrant may complain about any potential breach by the Promoter of the Australian Privacy Principles or any other Australian privacy laws and how such complaints will be dealt with.
